I want to configure daily backups locally on my cPanel server while sending weekly backups to my remote Amazon S3 instance. I would also like to configure monthly backups to a remote FTP server.
Is this type of backup configuration possible?

There is no native support in cPanel/WHM for sending different backup types (daily/weekly/monthly) to various destinations at this time. There are two open and popular feature requests with cPanel users asking for this functionality at the links below, however:
Ability to Schedule different backup destination for daily, weekly and monthly
Choose which type of backup (daily, weekly or monthly) is transferred to the Additional Destination
The more votes that a feature request receives, the more likely the functionality will be added to a future version of cPanel by our developers.
