Symptoms
There are cPanel plugins installed on DNS ONLY servers that are not needed and unrelated to DNS services.
Example packages installed are:
- cpanel-socialbee-plugin
- cpanel-sitejet-plugin
- cpanel-xovi-plugin
Description
The DNS ONLY installer should not be installing packages unintended to be used on a DNS ONLY server and should be skipped. There are no errors or negative impact being reported.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-48724. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
Presently, there is no workaround.
