Which ports should I open on a DNSOnly server?
Answer
We recommend opening the following ports in your firewall settings on a DNSOnly server:
- 37 (rdate)
- 53 TCP and UDP (DNS)
- 2086 (WHM)
- 2087 (WHM)
- 2089 (Licensing)
Please note when connections on port 2089 (licensing) fail during license checks, the system will attempt further connections over the following additional ports:
- 23
- 25
- 80
- 110
- 143
- 993
- 995
